What is e-Commerce-?
In simple word commerce is an act of trade between two parties:
   Where the exchange is negotiated under a set of mutual acceptable
    conditions , so that both parties emerge satisfied with result
   Where the exchange may depend on whether the two parties are
    prepared to tryst one another
Most e-Commerce vendors are simply offering the customer another
access point to physical commercial model. The same trading activities
need to happen:
   An offer by the vendor.
   Acceptance by the customer.
   An exchange of money, goods or services.
 E-commerce can be divided into:
    E-tailing or "virtual storefronts" on Web sites with online
      catalogs, sometimes gathered into a "virtual mall"
    The gathering and use of demographic data through Web contacts
    Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), the business-to-business
      exchange of data e-mail and fax and their use as media for
      reaching prospects and established customers (for example, with
      newsletters)
    Business-to-business buying and selling (B2B)

CORPORATION:
The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation was established in
August, 1961 under the provisions of the Road Transport Corporation
Act 1950 with the objective of providing “adequate, efficient,
economic and properly coordinated road transport services”.
It is wholly owned by the Government of Karnataka, India. The
Government of India is also a shareholder in this corporation. KSRTC
is also known for its Introduction of Volvo BLR7 Low body City
buses first time in India
ONLINE BOOKING OF TICKETS:
KSRTC gives us a very good facility for booking a ticket. We can our
ticket online. For this we have log on KSRTC website. There are some
requirements for being a member, after that we can book our ticket.
MODE OF PAYMENTS:
For payment of tickets which is booked on internet, KSRTC
accept ITZ CARD, all CREEDIT CARDS, and VISA CARD.
By this mean we can pay our money online. It also accepts all
major credit cards.
OFFER BY KSRTC:
    If we booked our tickets online then KSRTC gives us           many
discounts. Such as-
Discount on Return Journey Tickets: A discount of 10% is offered
on return journey tickets, if both onward and return journey tickets
are booked simultaneously.
Discount on Group bookings: A discount of 5% on the fare, if four
or more passengers book a single ticket. Further, discount of 8% is
given for a group of 10 or more passengers.
Special promotion fares (less than regular fares) are charged to
selected long distance destinations in Volvo, Mayura and Rajahamsa.
Special services: Additional services to pilgrimage / tourist places are
operated during festivals, summer vacation, other fairs/festivals,
weekends and holidays.
Casual Contract services: For special occasions like weddings,
excursions, pilgrimage or study tour etc, KSRTC is providing
dedicated buses on hire basis at competitive rates
CONCLUSION-
KSRTC provide us to book a ticket online which is helpful for a
busy man. Now many people prefer to book a ticket online
because it is very easy. By this service we save our time and
money also. Offer given by KSRTC, is very attractive. After
analysis above points I would like to conclude that KSRTC is a
good option for travelling.
