It has come to your attention that many students in your science class have misconceptions of
the following concepts:

(a)

The Human Circulatory System

Aerobic and Anaerobic Respiration


In about 4-5 pages write an essay to explain what is meant by misconceptions and
how it affects students learning of science.

(b)

Identify and categorise the various misconceptions students have on the human
circulatory system. Think of suitable model(s) to overcome students misconceptions.
Write a report on the suitability of the models and how it helped students to overcome
their misconceptions on human circulatory system.

(c)

Describe a suitable teaching strategy that can be used to teach the concept of aerobic
and anaerobic respiration. Write a reflection in about 4-5 pages on the suitability of
the teaching method.
