Setup an external alarm (horn).
Create and configure your own Trend templates.
Deal with the advanced settings of the workplace. Setup an Operator
Workplace with a dual (multiple) screen.
Expand a general Sequential Function Chart with the functionality of the Two
Direction SFC Control Modules/Function Blocks (Faceplate, Time control,
SFC Viewer aspect)
Deal with different kinds of communications (e.g. Controller-Controller).
Work with the security mechanism of the Process Portal A, provide/deny
access to control objects.
Work with the Import Export tool of the Process Portal, e.g. export a library
and import it somewhere else.
Deal with Off-Site/On-Site engineering.
Deal with the advanced functionalities of the Bulk Data Manager.
Deal with the Bulk Data Manager. Work with the basic functionality and with
templates. Learn how to work with Bulk Data Manager and Functional

1.9 Course Exercises
1.9.1 General
The purpose of both courses (T300 and T301) is to teach you how to configure a
complete application using System 800xA.
The exercises of this course are based on the exercises of the T300 Engineering an
800xA System course.
You will create a new library where to add a agitator type (Function Block or Control
Module type). A faceplate should be created and then the agitator will be inserted into
the system of the T300 course. Advanced Alarm and Trend configuration and a two
screen operator workplace will expand the example as well.
Finally you will use the Bulk Data Manager to create your bulk data and you will use
the security functionality to enable access to the different areas in your system for
different operators.
The process has the following plant configuration:

1.9.2 Objectives
One goal is that you learn to program and configure a complete application for
AC800M controllers, using the Control Builder and System 800xA. To do this you
will expand the system from the T300 Engineering an 800xA System course.
The exercises are adapted in such a way, that you will understand the work flow that
should be followed for any project. You can apply what you learn here to your own
project.
