This past Tuesday night, LEES experienced Mission: Its Possible
Night! Forty-three families came out for the event. Highlights of the
evening included creating green-screen antibullying videos and balloon-powered rockets! We
sincerely hope that everyone had a good time!

Grades 3rd - 5th, lets kick off the First in Math competition this
month with Mathtoberfest! The top three sticker achievers of each
grade level in 3rd - 5th at the end of each month will receive honors
and Math Star tags.
GIRLS BASKETBALL FALL SKILLS CLINIC
WOW! For the month of September, 107
kids earned a Star Award tag for completing the Book Wars reading challenge. A new Book Wars sheet was sent
home for October. Please remember to
record your reading each night and turn
it in at the end of the month.

Our STEM Lab (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) is in
need of the following items: toilet
paper rolls, paper towel rolls,
small containers (such as yogurt
cups.) If you have any of these,
please send them to school.
HOLY COW! We collected almost $500
worth of Boxtops! The winner of the
Boxtops Challenge was Mrs. Harpers
class who collected 750 Boxtops! They
will have an ice cream party in the coming weeks. Save
those Boxtops as we will have another challenge in February.

It is not too late to send in the Smile Virginia
Mobile Dentist forms, which were sent
home with your student. If you would like
your child to have a dental exam and cleaning, please fill out the form and return it to
school immediately. The dentist will be here
on October 13th.
