Angelina Castro, with her parents unaware, contracted a civil marriage with Edwin Cardenas. They did not immediately live together and it was only upon Castro found out that she was pregnant that they decided to live together wherein the said cohabitation lasted for only 4 months. Thereafter, they parted ways and Castro gave birth that was adopted by her brother with the consent of Cardenas.

Scope and Limitation


This study is limited examining the effect of the bullying to Grade 12 students of
University of Makati in the extent of Social and Emotional Phases.
The respondents are 30 students selected fort Grade 12 consists of 12 female and 15 male chosen
in the manner of purposive random sampling technique.
The researchers mainly focus on the two aspects which are social and emotional area where the
goal is to find if there is a significant difference between social and emotional effect of bullying
in terms of age and gender of the respondents who are selected randomly.
The researchers also assumed that the respondents also assumed tht the respondents who nare
selected random have experienced bullying.
The researchers will be conducting the study on teh first semester academic year 20136-2017 at
teh academic building III University of Makati located at JP RIzal Ext., West Makati City.

Significance of the Study


The following section presents the list of group of people who will benefit in this study.
Students, This research can help students to be educated on what are the positive ways they can
do in order to respond in this kind of situation of their lives. In taht way, the problem of
experience bullying lessen and in due time vanish.
Parents. This study can help parents know what are the causes and effect of bullying to their
children. in liue, they can protect and enlighten their children on how to respond with this kind of
matters. proper orientation and awareness can help them grow as a person and be able to know
their real worth.
Community organizations. It is an imperative for them to know the issues that youth
experiences. This will enable them to further implement precautionary measures or remedies to
force tall their unfavorable behavior that affects other and their selves.
Local Government. This can be a tool for law makers in making and improving the law regarding
bullying. They will also know how bullying affects an individuals view about tehir selves and
provide programs that can help them mature as an effective citizen of the society.
Teachers and School Administrators. This can be an instrument for the teachers and school
administrators to implement rules regarding bullying. as the persons in charge they are hold
responsible to be aware about the causes and effect of bullying to the students they are handling.

Future Researchers. The findings of this study can served as a good and reliable source of
information.
Aggression- reefers to range of behaviors that can result in both physical and psychological harm
to oneself, either or objects in the environment.

Definition of Terms
Anti-Bullying act of 2012 seeks to promote greater awareness of the impact of Bullying and
how i cam be prevented.
Anti bullying legislation legislation enacted nationally or by a sub-national jurisdiction to help
reduce or end bullying against students
Anti-Social behavior Is behavior that lacks consideraion for others and may cause damage to
the society wether intentionally or through negligence. It includes hostility and aggression, which
may take the form of verbal or physical abuse.
Anxiety- is an unpleasant state of lnner turmoil, often accompanied by nervous behavior, such as
placing forth, isomatic complains and remuneration.
Depression- is a state of low mood and aversion to activity that can affect to a persons thoughts,
behavior, feelings and sense of well being.
Deviant Behavior- is behavior which does not adhere to to widely accepted social or culuiral
forms.
Emotions - Strong agitation of the feelingsactuated by experiencinfg love, hate, fear, etc and
usually accompanied by certain physiological changes increased heartbeat and often overt
manifestation as crying or shaking.
Emphaty - understanding what others feel because you have experienced it yourself or can out
yourself in their shoes.
Hostility - is a form of angry internal rejection or denial.
Psychological behavior Bullying involves the repeated and intentional use of words or action
which can cause a psychological harm.
Self-Confidence is an assurance in oneself or one's own abilities.
Self-esteem- is use to describe a person's over all sense of self worth or personal value. It is often
seen as a personality trait, which means that it tends to be stable and enduring.
Verbal bullying- occurs when someone uses language to gain powers over his her peers. The
verbal bully makes use of relentless insults and teasing to bully his ir her peers.
Descriptive Method - is research to develop, test and evaluate research instruments and
methods. It explores phenomenon real life situation and uses the survey method. Common data
gathering methods use are as questionnaire, interview and observation.

Purposive Sampling Technique- is a type of non pro probability sampling where the researcher
consciously selects particular elements will have certain characteristics pertinent to the study.
