CAMP YAYA
OVERVIEW
Our camp is set up so that each camp member chooses 2 physical activities per day
that they want to participate in. For camp members staying a full week (Monday-Friday) this
allows them to choose 10 different activities they can participate in while at our camp.
Activity 1 Time: 2:00pm-3:00pm
Activity 2 Time: 3:15pm- 4:15pm
Aside from the activities members choose, we also offer everyday programs/activities
that members will participate in. These include the following: Bible Study, Cabin Devotional
Time, Worship Time, and Evening Program

Everyday Program
Bible Study
Where: Worship Hall
When: Every morning 10:00am-11:00am
What: A new topic will be decided each week
Topics include: attitude, temptation, forgiveness, faith, anxiety, teamwork, love, wisdom, etc.
Cabin Devotional Time
Where: Camp members cabins
When: 9:00pm-lights out @ 10pm
What: Cabin devotional time gives camp members time to relax, reflect on their day, and spend
time with God
Worship Time
Where: Worship Hall
When: Morning Worship-11:30am- lunchtime @ 12:30pm and Nighttime Worship- 7:30 pm8:45pm
What: All camp members gather at the Worship Hall for music, singing, dancing, etc.
Evening Program
Where: Worship Hall
When: 6:30pm- 7:30pm
What: All camp members gather at the Worship Hall for a brief speaker who will talk about Bible

Archery
Allows camp members to shoot at targets, improve/obtain archery skills, and work with other
camp members

Hiking Trails
Gives camp members the opportunity to explore nature, hike with other camp members, and be
adventurous
Basketball
Teams of 3 will be randomly chosen and camp members who participate will play short 3 on 3
games against one another
Balls and jerseys are available to camp members participating
Zip Line
Camp members will hike to the trails and zip down the 200 yard zip line offered at our camp
Harnesses and equipment will be provided
Kayaking
Camp members will kayak down a 2 mile stream that runs within our camp trails
Paddles, kayaks, and life vests will be provided
Canoeing
Camp members will learn canoeing techniques from our instructors and work with their peers to
maneuver the canoe.
Paddles, canoes, life vests, and buckets will be provided
BattleShips
Camp members will learn how to play the first person version of the game battleship!
Teams of two in canoes, each team tries sinking the other teams by pouring buckets of water
into their canoes
Paddles, canoes, life vests, and buckets will be provided
Pottery
Camp members will create ceramics using a pottery wheel
Materials will be provided
Soccer
Camp members will be divided into teams and will spend activity time playing soccer games
Balls, goals, and jerseys will be provided
Swimming
CAMP YAYA
Kids will swim in the pool for an hour with the supervision of lifeguards.
o Balls, rings, noodles and other pool toys will be provided. Bring own pair
of goggles and appropriate swim wear.
Paintball
Campers the age of 12 or higher will be allowed to play Paintball in our paintball arena
on the campgrounds. All of the obstacles have been donated from various people and
companies in the area. They include random items such as tractor tires, doors, large
piping, and even an old Beetle right in the center.
o Ammo, paintball guns, and Face Protective Gear, will be provided.
Skeet Shooting
Campers 12 and older who wish to test their marksmanship can participate in Skeet
Shooting out on the back 40 of the property, where there is a range set up.
o Firearms and ammo will be provided for the campers to take part, and will
be watched over by 3 trained staff members to ensure gun safety.
Low Ropes Course
Campers will use their heads to try and figure some of these obstacles out as well as
teamwork. Their counselor will help them figure out their way through and across and
over small objectives.
o Campers must wear closed toed shoes for this activity.
High Ropes Course
Campers will use basic climbing skills to navigate the course with the help and
encouragement of our trained staff. They will be held safely in place by the harness and
helmets that they have to wear, while being belayed by our staff.
o Harness and helmet provided, campers must bring closed toed shoes.
Pickle-Ball
Campers can enjoy the game of pickle-ball with their peers in friendly competition. They
will learn quickly how to play this easy fun game if never been introduced before and
want to play over and over again.
o All equipment for this program will be provided.
Ga-Ga Ball
Gaga is a fast paced, high-energy sport played in an octagonal pit. The more players the
game has, the better! Along with its kinder gentle version of dodge ball, the game is
played with a soft foam ball, and combines the skills of dodging, striking, running, and
jumping, while trying to hit opponents with a ball below the knees. Players need to keep
moving to avoid getting hit by the ball. Fun and easy for all ages!!

Everything will be provided for this game
Flashlight tag
The only catch is that this game is played at night and being tagged means getting lit up
by a flashlight. The game begins with a Hide-and-Seek element: one player selected as
Campers counts to a predetermined number while the rest of the players hide. Game is
finished when every player is found, then a new round begins!
o Flashlight will be provided for activity, but not everyday camp needs.
Flag football
Campers will be split in half to make the fairest teams possible, and begin to play the
game of flag football! Touchdowns a plenty come with the inclusion of this game!
o Pennies will be handed out before the activity.
Nature centric games
Campers will be immersed in the backwoods of many different types wildlife, their
activities will include Bird/wildlife spotting, nature hikes, plant/tree life of the
campgrounds.
Volleyball
Campers will get to enjoy the games volleyball as well as Nuke Em, in the sand
volleyball court. This is great for team building and relation building, as you need to work
together to win.
o Ball and court are provided.
Yoga
Campers will have the opportunity to partake in a morning Yoga class to start the day
refreshing the mind, body, and soul
o Yoga mats are provided
Kickball
Camp members will be divided into teams and will spend activity time playing the game
of kickball
o Balls, plates, and jerseys will be provided
Cooking class
Campers will join the cooking staff and help cook lunch
o Kitchen supplies will be provided
Better off Wet
Come out and enjoy the sun in our access of the lake. Jump off our high dive and land
on the blob that will sore you high in the sky, slide down the slide that will plunge you into
the water, or lounge on our 3 different inflatables that will be chilling in the lake
o The Blob, slide, inflatables, and lifejackets are provided.

Spring Program
Annual Easter Egg Hunt
Our camp will host an annual Easter Egg hunt the weekend before Easter
Previous camp members, camp members parents, family, staff, community, etc. will be invited

The Egg Hunt will go from 12pm-2pm
Participants will be divided into groups according to age

Seasonal Staff members will supervise the egg hunt and make sure things go as planned
Annual Spring Bunny Run 5k
Every year our camp will host a 5k open to the public
Participants will dress in Easter themed costumes (bunny, egg, carrot, etc.)
Registration will be 15$ and all proceeds will go to help the upkeep of the camp (facilities,
equipment, etc.)
Time: Registration begins @ 8 and race starts @ 9
The route will be marked off throughout the camp
Seasonal Staff members will serve as stewards throughout the route
Family Fun Day
Our camp gives families the opportunity to come and visit our camp, whether they are checking
it out for the first time or just wanting a fun, family camp experience
12pm-5pm
Will be held on a Sunday after from 12pm-5pm in April
The lake will be open along with many of the other activities we offer
Lunch will be served (come and go)
No registration, families can just show up
Gives families a chance to see what our camp is all about!
Winter Program
Mother Daughter Weekend
The weekend will be filled with a wide range of activities geared for mothers and daughters of all
ages. Camp YAYA mothers and daughters will gather around a bonfire for camp songs and
maybe even smores! We are looking forward to traditional programming, fun on the waterfront,
Evening Programs, and Chapel.
Programs Available: Archery, basketball, soccer, volleyball, canoeing, fishing, ga-ga ball, ultimate Frisbee,
flashlight tag, a pottery session and a bonfire.
CAMP YAYA
Father Son Weekend
The most fun weekend is filled with the out doors, sports, fishing, paintball, and growth between
father and son(s). Campers will enjoy these activities as well as other things, like the Man
Grilled Lunch, and also the Eternal Flame Giant Bonfire, where they can roast smores until they
are on fire. There will also be a Chapel sessions to accompany the end of a nights activities.
Programs Available: Archery, basketball, flag football, canoeing, fishing, paintball, ga-ga ball, ultimate
Frisbee, flashlight tag Nature centric games and a bonfire.
Winter Wonderland
2 weeks where patrons can come to check out the camp wrapped in Christmas lights! Its a fun
hayride experience where everyone can enjoy their favorite locations at camp wrapped in varies
themes of Christ through Christmas lights. At the end there is a bonfire with plenty of smores
and smiles!
