Pile Hacking Methodology

PILE HACKING METHODOLOGY

1. Ensure the working area to be safe, dry and stable.


2. The surveyor will set the levels mark the periphery of the RC Pile for the
cutting line 500mm above the bottom of the foundation.
3. Set the level and mark 1500mm above the bottom of the foundation for the
breaking of the RC Pile.
4. Using 7 diameter diamond cutting disk, cut 50mm depth or less to avoid
cutting the reinforcement along the periphery mark.
5. Hack the concrete to expose reinforcement.
6. Continue hacking till breaking all the concrete to separate the stub and the
upper portion of the RC Pile.
7. Cut the reinforcement while being supported by a sling connected to the
crane.
8. Dispose the excess of the RC Pile.
9. Clear the area for debris.
