Week of : 9/7 9/9


Responsibilities__During my first week at my internship, the main
responsibility that I had was attending and completing my Intern Orientation
online. This course included valuable information related to St.Jude and my
position as an intern and what they expect from me. Also, the orientation
included rules and regulations that could be beneficial t to me.
Week of : 9/12 9/16
Responsibilities:_I assisted the staff with calling walk participants for the
Baltimore Walk/Run event. I assisted the staff with calling the St. Jude Heroes
for the Philadelphia marathon. I created 5 format books for one of the staff
members. I assisted one of the staff members with pulling auction photos for
the Golden Gala.
Week of : 9/19-9/23
Responsibilities: _My responsibilities for this week were to make copies of
donor donations. I had to update the dessert spreadsheet for the golden gala
and creating different spreadsheets related to the event. I was in charge of
shipping items to a local high school.
Week of : 9/26 9/30
Responsibilities: I focused on calling more walk participants for the Baltimore
and Philadelphia Walk/Run Marathons.
Week of 10/3
Responsibilities__I helped the secretary/receptionist put together the
donation book and making sure that everything balanced out.
Week of 10/10
Responsibilities: I went over the donation book that I helped the receptionist
put together and made sure that everything balanced out and it matched up
with our records. I also helped organize her file cabinet and putting the
documents in the correct folders and even made new folders, as well.
Week of 10/17
Responsibilities: One of the staff members (Kathleen Davis) gave me the
opportunity to plan and execute an event for our participants that will take
place in November. So, my tasks for this week was to find a venue that could
accommodate our event.

Comments/Reflections__This was one of my favorite things to do at my


internship. The reason why is because Kathleen actually believed in me and
gave me the opportunity to plan and have total control over, which was a
great thing. This task really improved my leadership and event planning
skills.
Week of : 10/24
Responsibilities: I created a power point that included all of the possible
venues that I believe would be a good choice to host our event. Also, I was in
charge of creating activities that would go along with the theme of the event.
Week of 10/31
Responsibilities__I was in charge of mailing the invitations to each guests and
creating a sheet for people who are attending and not attending.
Week of 11/7
Responsibilities__I was in charge of creating a list of the people who R.S.V.P.
for the Thank You event party. I also created an agenda for the event and
called people who were coming to get the names of their plus one.
Week of 11/14
Responsibilities:_I helped one of the staff members create binders for her
meeting with the gala committee. I was in charge of putting different
contents such as the agenda, committee information and how to get
involved documents.
Week of 11/21
Responsibilities_For this week, I only worked one day due to the holiday.
However, I was finishing up creating a master spreadsheet for all the St. Jude
participants and people interested in volunteering.
