ABSTRACT
Implementation of a construction project, never be separated with
knowledge of material control. So there are three things that must be considered.
That is implementation time, implementation cost and resource. In project
implementation, the problem of limited resources can lead to delays in the
implementation of the project.
As we know the success of a project must be accompanied by a good
construction management in the implementation of a project which could serve to
organize and control the implementation of the project from an early stage until
the project ends. One of the components of the management is controlling, in this
case would be to control the cost and time, the purpose of controlling the cost and
time to the development of Building Faculty of Engineering, University of Sam
Ratulangi is to prevent this from happening excessive cost and time. With the
expected role of construction management oversight or control in the field can run
properly.
From the results of research in the field authors to conclude that a delay in
controlling the cost and time that the use of cost and time in the field is different
from project planning. In the continuing construction building engineering faculty
lecturers need to do a study on cost control and time for the optimization of
project delays, and on the job, to finish the rest of the work volume of the week 14
to week 26 (week of completion) be required 47 craftsmen and 94 workers.
