The school uses an identification process (including ongoing
conversations with instructional leadership teams and data points to be
used) for all students at risk of failing or in need of targeted interventions.
Use data to identify and provide differentiated materials,
resources, and services to support learning, including
EA
remediation/intervention strategies for students who are
4.10
unsuccessful.
Smart Goal:
Beginning in January, 2014 all math / English teachers will use
the developed shared google document to record tier level and
remediation/intervention actions based upon historical
assessment data and benchmark/student growth assessment
data. 100% of the tier 2 and 3 students will participate in
remediation / intervention activities to address weaknesses
identified through the data analysis.
The school uses a tiered, differentiated intervention process to assign
research-based interventions aligned with the individual needs of identified
students (the process includes a description of how interventions are
selected and assigned to students as well as the frequency and duration of
interventions for Tier 2 and Tier 3 students).
EA

Indicators discussed for addition
A brief discussion about the possible additional indicators the committee agreed
that although any of these would be good additions, now is not the time to add to the
plate. We should focus on doing what is already stated as well as possible and allow
time for growth and commitment to occur.
