Reservoir Modeler

The document outlines the key responsibilities of a geologist role: 1) Plan geological evaluations and mapping using geological and geophysical data to understand regional geology and optimize field development planning. 2) Conduct reservoir modeling using sedimentology, facies, seismic, and petrophysical data to understand reservoir properties and architecture for resource assessments. 3) Plan and oversee geological data acquisition like coring and logging to better understand reservoirs and reduce geological uncertainties.

General Job Descriptions:

Plan & carry out detail geological evaluation, interpretation, stratigraphic correlation,
mapping, structural cross-section, by integrating and collaborating available geological and
geophysical data and documentation to understand regional geology, reservoir architecture &
heterogeneity and hydrocarbon distribution in order to accurately prepare the field appraisal,
development well planning, near-field resource maturation and subsequently formulate
optimum field development planning and Full-field review

Design and conduct reservoir geological modeling work by conducting a systematic and
an integrated reservoir study using sedimentology, facies, seismic information and
petrophysical data in order to understand reservoir distribution, reservoir heterogeneities,
properties, quality and architecture to provide accurate resource assessments and input to
reservoir simulation for maximize recovery and effective cost.

Assess, plan, design and supervise geological data acquisition such as coring, log by
identifying value of information and existing geological uncertainty in order to better
understand the field and reservoir and reduce and managing geological uncertainties for
optimum field evaluation, development plan and reservoir management plan.

Analyze and recommend for solutions on any issues raised during drilling operations for
management decisions by collaborating geological information in order to analyze and
reduce uncertainties for optimum reservoir management and development plan
