HiTEC 8757B

A Versatile Cascade Booster Additive


Application
HiTEC 8757B additive is a booster package designed to be used in conjunction with the new HiTEC 8799B
cascade package in the manufacture of a wide range of mainstream heavy-duty oils. HiTEC 8799B additive is
designed to cover a premium profile including API CI-4, ACEA E5/E7 and Volvo VDS-3 approval at an individual
treat rate of 16.2% wt., but the package is also the principal constituent of a downtreat cascade to cover
performnace profiles at the API CH-4, CG-4, CF-4 , CF-4/SJ, CF-4/SG and CF only, when used with HiTEC
8757B additive as a trimming booster.

Recommended Dosage
HiTEC 8757B additive is designed to be used in conjunction with HiTEC 8799B additive to meet the following
general performance profiles.

API CH-4/SL, ACEA E5/E7 and MB 228.3 package approval


12.3% wt HiTEC 8799B plus 0.9% wt. HiTEC 8757B booster
API CG-4/SL, ACEA E3 and MB 228.3
9.6% wt HiTEC 8799B plus 1.1% wt. HiTEC 8757B booster
API CF-4/SJ, ACEA E2 and MB 228.1 package approval
6.3% wt HiTEC 8799B plus 1.8% wt. HiTEC 8757B booster
API CF-4/CF/SJ
5.55% wt HiTEC 8799B plus 1.6% wt. HiTEC 8757B booster
API CF-4/SG
3.00% wt HiTEC 8799B plus 2.8% wt. HiTEC 8757B booster
API CF only
4.30% wt HiTEC 8799B plus 1.20% wt. HiTEC 8757B booster
