Due to start of canal closure period, the indent of Tarbela and Mangla has been
reduced by IRSA resulting in reduction of 1200 MW generation in average and 2400MW
during peak hours from hydel stations.
Therefore, you are requested that following load shedding may please be implemented
from 0000HRS, dated 23/12/2016 to avoid force load shedding and system disturbance.
