Thisconstructionmethodstatementhasbeenmadeinconjunctionwithaconstructionmethodplan
whichhighlightspositionsofparking,storageandCranepositionswhenrequired.

Onsiteparking
Allsiteoperativeswillbeabletoparkonsiteduringconstruction.
Thereisalreadyanestablishedaccessroadwhichservesnumbers42a42ccollegeroadwhichis
withintheownershipofCharlesgateHomesLimited.
Thegreencrosssectionsareaswillallowforatleast10vehiclesduringconstructionwhichwill
reducetemporarilywhenthecraneisonsitetoliftinconcretefloorbeamstothegroundandfirst
floor,andalsowhentherooftrussesareininstalled.
Whenthecraneisonsitethenumberofsubcontractorswillreducetoonlytheinstallersofthe
concretefloorbeamsorrooftrussinstallersonthesedaysduetocranework.
Theroadwaywillbeatleast5mwideduringconstructionsoifadditionalparkingisrequiredthiswill
notimpacttheaccessroadfor42a42ccollegeroad.
Thevehicleparkingareashavebeendesignedtoallowforoperativestomanoeuvrewithinthesite
andleavethesiteinaforwardgear.

OnsiteStorage
Thereis3mainareasofonsitestoragewhichhasbeendesignedaroundtheTreeprotectionfencing
andscaffoldliftsrequiredtothehouses.Themainstorageareawillbebetweenplots2and3which
willbethelocationoftheblocksandbrickswillbestored.
Theareatotherearoftheplotknownaslandadjacentto42collegeroadwillbeusedforstoring
lightweightinsulationandwindowformers.
Theareainfrontoflandadjacentto42collegeroadwillbethemainareaforstorageofsandand
cement.
Therewillanadditionalsecurestoragecontainerthatwillsituatedontheedgeoftheroot
protectionzoneatthefrontoflandadjacentto42collegeroad.

Welfarefacilities
ThewelfarefacilitywillbesituatedattheentranceandwillalsohaveaWCinstalledwithinthis
buildingthatwillhavedirectdrainageaccesswhichiscurrentlyenjoyedby44collegeroad.The
welfarefacilitywillhaverunninghotandcoldwaterwithadryingroomandWC.
Therewillbewheelwashingfacilitiesalongsidethewelfarefacilitiesthatwillhavetemporary
drainagepointsintotheexistingdrainagefor44collegeroad.


Sitesecurity
Therewillbearrisfencingattachedtothescaffoldingoftheplotsthatfrontontotheaccessroadto
keepthesitesecureofnonesiteoperativeswalkingontothesites.
Thereaccesspointsinbetweenplots1and2andalsobetweenplots2and3toallowforaccessfor
thesiteoperatives.
Therewillnewfencingerectedonthefrontboundaryoffrontingontocollegeroadoncetheexisting
accesspointsinto44collegeroadhasbeenremoved.

Treeprotectionareas
Theareasmarkedinpurplecrosshatchingwillbeclosedofftoallsiteoperativesuntilthephysical
buildingandgroundworkshavebeencomplete.Thistreeprotectionfencingwillbeputupin
conjunctionwiththeapprovedtreeconstraintsplansuppliedbyGHA.

Onsitedeliveries
Allonsitedeliverieswillbetakenoutsideofschooldropoffandcollectingperiodstolimitany
impactonsafetytoschoolspupilsandalsotoallowforthetraffictobeimpactedaslittleaspossible.
Alldeliveryvehicleswillbeguidedintositebywayoftheonsitebanksmanandwillbeabletoturn
withinthesiteandagainleaveinaforwardgear.

Cranework
Anycraneworkwillbecarriedoutinbetweenplots1and2andallowsforaccesstothewholesite
withoutcompromisingtheaccessroadorimpactinganyofthetreeprotectionzones.
Whencraneworkisbeingconductedabanksmanwillbepresentontheroadtoguideanyvehicles
orpedestrianstoandfromtheproperties42a42ccollegeroad.

Locationofconstructionmethodstatementandplan
Thisstatementandplanwillbesituatedwithinthesiteofficeatthefrontofthesiteandallsite
operativeswillbesuppliedwiththisandmadeawareofhowtoconductthemselveswhilstonthe
siteintermsofparkingarrangements,wearinghighviabilityclothingandprotectiveheadgear,steel
toebootsandgloves.
