Upgrade Firmware via USB flash drive

1. Prepare a USB flash drive, and format it to FAT32 system format


2. Place all files from extraction into the root directory of the USB flash
drive. (ie. Kernel16.bin, Boot.bin, Html.bin)
3. Plug your USB flash drive into the USB port of the DVR, and wait for pop
up message USB connected.
4. In the menu of the DVR, go to Advance>>System>>Upgrade>> then
choose yes.
5. After upgrade finished, system will reboot.
6. DVR need to be reset after upgrade. Please go to Advance>>System>>
Reset Default>> then choose yes to reset system. Please note, after
reset default, all settings (ie, detection, network, and PTZ etc.) may
need to reset for your environment.
7. You can always check out your firmware version in DVR. In the menu, go
to Advance>>System>>firmware version.

Upgrade Firmware via client software (AP)


1. Input the login information (username, password, IP address, and port
number), but do not log in.

3. Click on Firmware upgrade icon.


4. Click Find to choose the folder where the firmware files (ie. Kernel4.bin)
located. Then click OK.
5. Then press Upgrade to start upgrade.
