Hello everyone,

I would like to know the exact location of ARP file in our PC. Can we get to know this??
and one more question when I type arp -a in my PC it gives following ARP table.
I have never entered any static ARP entry till date then why it is showing static ARP entry and also the IP add.
showing in it is unknown to me....
Is there is some problem with my PC os??

As far as I know, the arp cache only lives in memory. The static arp entries you see are for multicast. There is
no arp resolution for multicast so the mapping would sort of be static for any multicast IP that is being used.
