Teach various art methods and materials including ceramics, sculpture, printmaking, mixed-media, painting

and drawing.
Collaborate with district art team on curriculum writing, lesson plans and differentiated instruction, including

creating cross-curricular units in storytelling, cultural art and vocational art.


Sponsor 1-6 grade art club for students to explore art materials and develop individual art style.

Created an Art Helper program for at risk 5th and 6th grade students to assist and be positive role models to

younger students.
Promote student involvement in various art competitions and events including 100 years 100 Cellos, the

Pleasant Valley Art Expo, and PTA Reflections.


Organize and display student artwork at school Fine Arts Night and district show at the Figge Art Museum.

Wrote SCRA technology grant ($22,950) to provide additional laptops for school-wide student use.

Mentored first year teacher and student teachers on lesson planning and classroom management.
