Objective: The children will construct towers and verbally identify the shapes of blocks
they are using as well as compare and contrast the lengths of various towers.
Materials: Wooden Blocks, four rulers, four measuring tapes, four clipboards with
papers and pencils, toy construction vehicles, construction books, toy tools.
Presentation:
   1. On the block section of the classroom lay out the four rulers and four
      clipboards, pencils, and papers.

    2. Have the wooden blocks out on the carpet along with construction trucks.
    3. Propped up in a standing position have The Ultimate Construction Site Book
       out and accessible for the children to use.

Discussion Questions:
   1. Who built the tallest tower?
   2. Can you name all the shapes used to build the tower?
   3. Explain why the tower fell?
   4. Can you illustrate how you built your tower on your clipboard?
   5. What would result if we used foam blocks instead of wood blocks?
   6. Illustrate the plans for a tower made out of foam blocks on your clipboard.
