JOB # 04

OBJECT: To Make a Two Step Fitting.

DRAWING:

TOOLS: Hacksaw, Smooth File, Hammer

MATERIALS: Iron Metal Sheet

PROCEDURE:
1. File the sides of the metal sheet using smooth file.
2. Mark 90 mm, 90 mm length and width on the sheet
respectively.

3. Cut the marked metal sheet using a hacksaw.

4. Now mark other dimensions on the metal sheet according to


the drawing.

5. Cut the metal according to the marked dimensions using a


hacksaw and smoothen the cut surfaces using a smooth file.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:
1. Dont get too close to the tools while working.

2. Stand in a suitable position.

3. Dont place the tools at the edge of the working table.

4. After job completion clear the working table.

5. Wear goggles, gloves and overhaul while working with


instruments.
