5 Kg CO2 extinguisher

a) Description :
2 Kg/4.5 Kg CO2 extinguishers use CO2 which is stored in pressure containers for
extinguishing fires.

b) Operation :

1. Open Valve in anti-clock wise direction

2. Aim nozzle at the source of fire

3. Keep on moving nozzle briskly until carbon di-oxide continues

4. Close valve

a) Periodic checking/maintenance :

once in 5 Measure Ultrasonic thickness of the shell
years and record readings.

3 Nozzle & once in 3 inspect visually that the orifices are clear and

5 Safety Valve during Overhaul & reset
