Turbine Trouble Shooting: S.N Trouble Possible Cause

This document provides troubleshooting information for various issues that may occur in a steam turbine. It lists 12 potential problems, ranging from high vibrations to low lube oil pressure. For each problem, it identifies possible causes and recommended countermeasures. Some common causes include scale deposits, steam or water leaks, insufficient warmup time, bearing clearance issues, and foreign material in piping or oil systems. Countermeasures include removing scale, checking for leaks, increasing warmup time, adjusting clearances, and cleaning piping or oil systems. The goal of the troubleshooting guide is to help maintenance technicians identify and resolve issues to restore normal turbine operation.
