Windows
Installation
1. Insert the CYAN colored USB flash drive into a USB port on the PC.
2. Click Start > Computer > Planmeca Romexis to open the USB contents.
3. Open the Win\Romexis folder and right-click the setup.exe file and select
Run as administrator to start the installation.
4. Consult the Planmeca Romexis Technical manual included on the USB flash drive
(doc\tm\Romexis_tm.pdf) for detailed instructions for proper installation and setup.
Licence installation
1. Open licence installation tool from Start > All Programs > Planmeca > Install Romexis License.
2. Follow the licence tools instructions to install licence file.
Licence activation
1. Start the Planmeca Romexis software by double-clicking the Romexis icon.
2. A dialogue requesting for activation will pop up.
3. Activate the licence.
a. When connected to the Internet, select Automatic activation mode
and fill in the user name and email address.
b. If no Internet connection is available, select Manual activation mode
and follow the instructions in the appearing dialogue.
Implant Library installation
1. Insert the WHITE colored USB flash drive into a USB port on the PC.
2. Click Start > Computer > Planmeca Romexis Implant Library to open the USB contents.
3. Open the Win folder and double-click the setup.exe file to start the installation.
4. Consult the Planmeca Romexis Technical manual included on the USB flash drive
(doc\Romexis_tm.pdf) for detailed instructions for proper installation and setup.

Mac OS
Installation
1. Insert the CYAN colored USB flash drive into a USB port on the Mac computer.
2. Open the installation USB flash drive from the left toolbar.
3. Open the OS X folder and double-click the Planmeca_Romexis_<version>_OS_X.dmg
file to mount the installation media.
4. Consult the Planmeca Romexis Technical manual included on the USB flash drive
(doc/tm/Romexis_tm.pdf) for detailed instructions for proper installation and setup.
Licence installation
1. Manually copy the romexis.lic file to /Applications/Planmeca/Romexis/sconfig/
directory.
2. Restart the Planmeca Romexis service.
