Product Chemgard 700S is a one-component, low
Description viscosity, water repellent reactive
impregnation for cementitious substrates, based on
Alkylalkoxy-Siloxane.
Suitable for use in hot and tropical climates.

Uses Chemgard 700S is used as a colourless water-
repellent impregnation compound for absorbent substrates
e.g.
- Concrete (including pre-cast)
- Bricks, stones, plaster etc.

Advantages - Economical and easy to use.
- Reduces capillary water absorption
- Improves resistance to frost
- Reduces penetration of pollutants dissolved in water
such as chloride salts.
- Reduces efflorescence
- Protection against driving rain on vertical areas
- Does not alter the facade colour.

depending on absorbency of substrate.

Application

Surface Preparation Substrate must be sound, free from dust, dirt, loose
particles, oil, grease, efflorescence and existing
coatings. Clean substrate mechanically, preferably
by high-pressure steam or water jetting. Best results
are achieved on dry, well absorbing substrates.
Maximum moisture content: 5%. Minimum age of
concrete or mortar: at least 4 weeks.
If to be overcoated, observe the required substrate
conditions.

Mixing Chemgard 700S is supplied ready for- use and
must not be diluted.
__________________________________________________________________
Application Method Apply in excess by brush, roller or suitable spray
equipment (no compressed air). Apply evenly wet
on wet in a minimum of two coats.

Overcoating Waiting times: Minimum 4 hrs

Cleaning Clean application equipment with Chem Colma
Cleaner immediately after use.
