LABORS DAY

(Labor Day in the United States) is an annual holiday to

celebrate the achievements of workers. Labour Day has its
origins in the labour union movement, specifically the eight-
hour day movement, which advocated eight hours for work,
eight hours for recreation, and eight hours for rest.
For most countries, Labour Day is synonymous with, or linked
with, International Workers' Day, which occurs on 1 May. For
other countries, Labour Day is celebrated on a different date,
often one with special significance for the labour movement
in that country. Often Labour Day is a public holiday in many
countries.
VALENTINES DAY

Valentine's Day, also called Saint Valentine's Day or

the Feast of Saint Valentine,[1] is an annual holiday
celebrated on February 14. It originated as a
Western Christian liturgical feast day honoring one
or more early saints named Valentinus, and is
recognized as a significant cultural and commercial
celebration in many regions around the world,
although it is not a public holiday in any country.
Several martyrdom stories associated with the various Valentines that were connected to
February 14 were added to later martyrologies,[2] including a popular hagiographical account of
Saint Valentine of Rome which indicated he was imprisoned for performing weddings for soldiers
who were forbidden to marry and for ministering to Christians.

Salvador was established in 1840 after the dissolution of
the United Provinces of Central America on the same year
in which El Salvador was a part.
The United Provinces of Central America was a central
American sovereign state which has a brief existence from
1823 to 1840. It included the following countries in
Central America: El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, Costa
Rica, and Nicaragua.
The Armed Forces of El Salvador is composed of the Army, the Air Force and the Navy which was
reestablished in 1952 after 40 years of absence. The event that leads to the creation of El
Salvadors armed forces is now known as Soldiers Day.
ALL SOULS DAY

In Christianity, All Souls' Day commemorates All

Souls, the Holy Souls, or the Faithful Departed;
that is, the souls of Christians who have died.
Observing Christians typically remember deceased
relatives on the day.[2][3] In Western Christianity the annual celebration is now held on 2
November and is associated with the three days of Allhallowtide, including All Saints' Day (1
November) and its vigil, Halloween (31 October).[4] In the Catholic Church, "the faithful" refers
specifically to baptized Catholics; "all souls" commemorates the church penitent of souls in
Purgatory, whereas "all saints" commemorates the church triumphant of saints in Heaven
THE CROSS DAY

The Day of the Cross is a popular part of religious

and cultural identity in many Latin American
countries. Holy Cross Day is based on an old
liturgical feast celebrating the discovery of the true
cross of Christ by St. Helen on May 3rd, 326 A.D. On
this day the Cross of Jesus Christ is honored with
processions, singing, and hundredseven
thousandsof decorated crosses along roadsides,
hillsides, parks, cemeteries, and other public places.

commonly known as the Fourth of July or
the Fourth, is a holiday commemorating
the adoption of the Declaration of

Holy Week

(Latin: Hebdomas Sancta or Hebdomas Maior,

"Greater Week"; Greek:
, Hagia kai Megale Hebdomas, "Holy and
Great Week") in Christianity is the week just
before Easter. In the West, it is also the last week
of Lent, and includes Palm Sunday, Holy
Wednesday (Spy Wednesday), Maundy Thursday
(Holy Thursday), Good Friday (Holy Friday), and
Holy Saturday.[1][2] It does not include Easter
Sunday, although traditions observing the Easter
Triduum may overlap or displace part of Holy
Week or Easter itself within that additional liturgical period.
JESUS AS SAVIOR OF THE WORLD

The Bible declares that the Savior of the

World brings salvation from the
consequences of sin. Those consequences
result in death, suffering Gods wrath, and
an eternity in hell for unbelievers. Yes, Hell
is real and Romans 6:23 says, For the
wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is
eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Sin is anything that comes between us and God, including doing our will, not His. Sin is
disobedience to or rejection of God. Sin is breaking the Covenants of God.

Father's Day

is a celebration honoring fathers and celebrating

fatherhood, paternal bonds, and the influence of
fathers in society. In Catholic Europe, it has been
celebrated on March 19 (St. Joseph's Day) since the
Middle Ages. This celebration was brought by the
Spanish and Portuguese to Latin America, where
March 19 is often still used for it, though many
countries in Europe and the Americas have adopted
the U.S. date, which is the third Sunday of June. It is celebrated on various days in many parts of
the world, most commonly in the months of March or May. It complements similar celebrations
honoring family members, such as Mother's Day, Siblings Day and Grandparents Day.

most important people on your staff.

Halloween

is a celebration on the night of October 31st. It

is most practiced in the United States and
Canada. Children wear costumes and go to
people's homes saying "Trick or treat!" to ask
for candy (sweets in the UK) and people give it
to them. The suggestion is: "Give me a treat or I will play a trick on you." People often dress up as
ghosts, witches, or other scary things for Halloween.
For Christians it is the eve of All Hallows' Day, which begins the three-day observance of
Allhallowtide.[1] All Hallows' Eve is a Christianized feast influenced by Celtic harvest festivals, and
pagan roots.[2

Mother's Day

is a celebration honoring the mother of the

family, as well as motherhood, maternal
bonds, and the influence of mothers in
society. It is celebrated on various days in

members, such as Father's Day, Siblings Day, and Grandparents Day.

Thanksgiving Day

is a national holiday celebrated in

Canada, in the United States, in some
of the Caribbean islands and in Liberia.
It began as a day of giving thanks for
the blessing of the harvest and of the
preceding year. Similarly named
festival holidays occur in Germany and
Japan. Thanksgiving is celebrated on
the second Monday of October in
Canada and on the fourth Thursday of November in the United States, and around the same part
of the year in other places. Although Thanksgiving has historical roots in religious and cultural
traditions, it has long been celebrated as a secular holiday as well.
