Reports On Crack Inspection of

The report summarizes an inspection of cracks found in the soffit slabs of two buildings, Raiyan Knit Composite Ltd. and Tillottama Fashions Ltd. in Gazipur, Bangladesh. Tests and visual inspections revealed some hairline cracks on the slab surfaces but found that the cracks did not propagate through the structural part of the slabs. hortokitola, chandra, kaliakoir, Gazipur. There have
been found some cracks on soffit of slab. To check
whether the cracks are structural or plaster, some test
has been performed. Some visual inspections with
bare eyes as well as well as chipping plaster from the
crack surface has been done. During inspection, it has
been found some cracks propagate on surface of slab.
By visual inspection & analysis, it has been found that
those cracks doesnt propagate through the structural
part of slab. So, the cracks are not harmful for the
structure.
