LIFE STORY OF DADA LEKHRAJ KRIPALANI ALSO KNOWN AS PRAJAPITA BRAHMA BABA
LIFE AND PERSONALITY
Prajapita Brahma Baba, whose given name was Dada Lekhraj Kripalani was born in February 1876 in
Hyderabad, Sindh (now Pakistan). Being the son of a School Master, Dada, as a child, had developed all good
qualities e.g. devotion, introvertness, humility, caring, sharing, great heartedness, sincerity, etc. His eyes
always radiated love, compassion, understanding and strength. Baba also had an exemplary learning capacity,
sense of discipline and a very strong willpower. He had a good judgement of human beings. It did not take
him long to measure a persons sincerity and inclination towards spiritual wisdom. In a second he could see
the sanskars (personality traits) of the soul that came in his presence. Babas message was the message of
universal love, harmony and peace and he considered all to be Sweet Spiritual Children. Baba had
remarkable quality in keeping different sanskars and temperament united in spiritual love.
As a young man, he began his career as a wheat merchant. Through hard, honest and sincere work he later progressed to become a
diamond merchant. He soon became the leading diamond jeweller of his time. He was loved by all the royal families and the public in
general. He stood for high morals and ethical values. He was a great devotee of Vishnu and he regularly studied the Gita.
VISION
In the year 1936, at around the age of 60, Dada began to have Godly Visions and Divine Visits. He also had
visions about the forthcoming destruction of the present Iron Aged World. Brahma Baba saw the earth shaking
very violently because of unprecedented earthquakes, certain continents burning and going deep down under
water because of nuclear catastrophe and a lot of blood spilling of communal and ethnic wars. Baba was
terrified and saddened.
Baba also had a vision of the New World order of Satyuga (Golden Age), where there will be perfect law and
order, love & unity and purity, peace and prosperity. Baba was ordained by the Divine to be His Corporeal
Medium for the establishment of this New World Order.
TRUST
In the year 1936, Dada gave up his business and donated his entire wealth, to a Trust which he created. This was called Om Mandali
and it was managed by a group of women. Baba paid special attention to uplift women who were down-trodden, demoralized, neglected,
ill-treated and abused in society. He fought tirelessly to give them a honourable place in the society. Baba was a great visionary and
supporter of women empowerment. Being ahead of his time, Baba kept uplifting society through emancipation of Women at the forefront
of his spiritual task. He encouraged women to become spiritual leaders and he entrusted his entire wealth and property in their hands thus
founding the Prajapita Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University in 1937. The tiny trust has now over 8500 branches in India and around
the world.
BABAS MESSAGE
The Supreme Soul is giving the Godly Message through the Medium of Prajapita Brahma. He says:
Dear children, I have come again to teach you Raj Yoga and to give you the birthright of Golden Age. You can claim this right
from ME at this time of the Confluence Age, if not now then never!
The vices are the doorway to hell. You have come under the influence of these vices birth after birth, which have caused
sorrow and distress. Now with Godly Knowledge and Raj yoga attain Liberation and Liberation in life. No human being can
liberate you from the vices. Only through My remembrance you can become pure.
Dear children, renounce body consciousness and remember Me, Your Supreme Father and your sins of many births will be
destroyed.
Rise above the religion of the body, consider yourself to be a soul: become soul conscious and help in the task of world
transformation. The destruction of the Iron Age is coming close and it is time to return home to the soul world.
Baba asked humankind to become Incorporeal, Viceless and Egoless. These were his last words of wisdom. Pitashri Prajapita Brahma
left his mortal coil on 18 January 1969 and has ascended to the Subtle World. Ever since, the speed of establishment of the new Golden
Age has accelerated, the degraded and vicious world will soon become Pure, Divine, Viceless, and Happiness will prevail and where
deities will rule again.
