IELTS - International English Language Testing System.

There are two modules in IELTS

(1) Academic Module for Study undergraduate, graduate and post graduate courses.

(2) General Training Module for Permanent Resident, settlement (dependent/spouse visa) and work permit.

IELTS is design to assess the Language Ability of candidates wishing to study or migrate, where English is
the native (FIRST) language of communication.

IELTS is jointly owned by British Council (UK), IDP (International Development Program, Australia)
and Cambridge English Language Assessment.

IELTS scoring in detail

IELTS Academic and General Training versions are


marked using the 9 Band Scale. There is no such thing
as a PASS OR FAIL in IELTS. Results are reported as
Band Score on scale from 1 (the lowest) to 9 (the
highest).
Overall Band Score: IELTS test takers receive a TRF (Test Report Form) setting out their overall band
score and their scores on each of the four components: Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking.

TRF Validity: Your Test Report Form will be valid for a recommended period of TWO YEARS.

Result: Results are available 13 calendar days after the test date on internet. Results remain online for
28 days. Candidate will receive only one TRF copy at doorstep within 13-18 days.

Accessible and Convenient: IELTS is offered up to four times a month. Tests are usually on Saturday or
Thursday.

Exam Centres: (WEST INDIA) SURAT, BARODA, ANAND, AHMEDABAD, RAJKOT, MEHSANA, MUMBAI,
NAVI MUMBAI, PUNA and GOA.

Test Requirement: Candidate must have original PASSPORT for IELTS Exam.

Examination Fees: 11,300/- * through ICICI Bank/Allahabad bank or with Credit Card.
