Building Digital Tools to create an Inclusive Internet Experience for the emerging
markets!
In India, a large number of people get their first formal taste of the Internet thanks to a
smartphone. Boxer Internet, at its very core is a pervasive mobile assistant for Android
devices but what we excel at is prediction and personalisation of what our users
consume on the Internet.
Our vision is to make the Internet experience for new users more intuitive and personal.
Showcasing content that is just right for them. Giving users more reasons to explore
and engage with the Internet.

Description
Boxer Internet is looking for Design and Interaction on Mobile ideas, which promote
habits that, improve the Internet Experience for new smartphone users across the age
spectrum.

The best designs are innovative, engaging, practical, and readily understood.

The permanent assistant app would be a permanent interactive fixture on the users
home screen and a permanent notification in the notification tray of the user. The
service will have 3 activity components:

1. Search
2. News across categories
3. App of the day

Side Notes:
The Content will be auto refreshed periodically or can be manually refreshed by the
user.
The user should have an option to re-configure these services via a settings option.

The Challenge will be judged by experts in design and technology for a population that
is just beginning to experience the Internet.
Criterias include:
o Alignment with challenge topic
o Potential for impact
o Originality
o Probability of Implementation (i.e. can this design be implemented within existing
Android technology and market constraints, such as multilingual support)

Android Devices only (mobiles only, no tablets)


We are looking for end to end interaction of the user and the various
components/services provided by the application
Ideally we would want the theme to be pleasing to the user aesthetically, it can also be
fun to use.
