Dublin City Hall

City Hall in Dublin was originally built between 1769-1779 as the Royal Exchange. It was designed by Thomas Cooley and built by the Guild of Merchants. In the late 19th/early 20th century, several features were added including murals depicting Dublin's history and a large clock. In the late 1990s, Dublin City Council embarked on a restoration project to return City Hall to its original Georgian design.
