IN POINTS
Min 4-5 POINTS

Kanpur rural and urban
2. The study to carried on at a time period and hence it is also influenced by
prevailing factors during the period.
3. The study is the result of a sample size, considered to enable the smooth
conduct and hence. it is not a total representation of whole
4. Human element factor in participation of research is one of influencing
limitation factor
Research Design and Methodology
It must specify the following:
Universe, Research design, Sampling Type, Sample size, Sample location, Data type,
Instrument used, Analytical Tools, Hypothesis, Identified independent and dependent
variables,

CHAPTER-4
DATA ANALYSIS & INTERPRETATION
Raw data (primary or secondary) collected must be reduced to standard formats
such as tables, charts, graphs, diagrams etc and is to be presented in this chapter. This
chapter will include Decoding of data, Classification of Data, Tabulation of the data,
Application of analytical tool(s), Use of graphs, Depiction of Bar diagrams, Histogram
and its observation and inferences drawn. Proper titles, legends, scales, source (s) etc
must be mentioned along with each diagram.
After representation and analysis of data student must draw inferences. Students
are required to discuss rational and logic for drawing inferences. For each inference,
proper linkages are to be established either with the data analyzed or with the calculation
(s) to be included in this Chapter. Wherever, calculations are to be carried out, it must be
provided before drawing any inference. The inferences are to be presented in narrative
form from each data set along with limitation (s) due to data insufficiency, if any.

CHAPTER 5
SUMMARY AND CONCLUSIONS
SUMMARY OF FINDINGS
After the completion of data analysis and Interpretation major finding of the research
must be represented either in points or in paragraphs depending upon the type of
problem.
[FONT 12 AND DOUBLE SPACING]
FOR EXAMPLE:
In Growth Funds the Sharpe index performance in the year 2012 shows UTI
Fund giving better result than other funds.
The main competitor of UTI is Supreme as they are having approx 14.78 % of
share in the product.
CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATIONS
This section interprets the findings stated by correlating the different variables. The
results are interpreted in the light of the problem being handled in the project and then
draw significant conclusions. Recommendations will flow from these conclusions which
will act as useful inputs to decision making. These recommendations should be feasible
and practical.
Either in points or paragraphs.
[FONT 12 AND DOUBLE SPACING]
FOR EXAMPLE:
For the successful investment, the investors should focus on the following
Investors should understand the basic elements of mutual fund investing and their
affect on the potential value of the investments over the year.
Investors should fix their objectives, risk level and have to assess the risk
associated with the different funds; this would help to select the fund that meets
their needs.
