Trkiye Scholarships are government-funded, competitive scholarships,
awarded to outstanding applicants from countries outside Turkey to pursue
a full-time degree and short-term programmes at prestigious universities in
Turkey.
Trkiye Scholarships aim to build a network of future leaders committed
to strengthening cooperation among countries and mutual understanding
among societies.
One of the most significant peculiarities of Trkiye Scholarships is that it is a
combination of direct university admission and award.

apply for both scholarship and admission to their chosen university and

Trkiye Scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis. Applications
are assessed on the basis of academic success, qualifications and
future goals.

Please Note: Applicants may track the status of their applications and all
the updates on Trkiye Scholarships Information System (TSIS) where they
submit their applications. Applicants are also informed of the outcome of
their applications usually 30 days after the interview through
e-mail. Trkiye Scholarships Office may only provide
feedback to applicants themselves. Results
and follow-up information will be sent to
applicants e-mail registered in online
application account. Requests for e-mail
change due to lost e-mail or forgotten
password will not be met. Please keep

Interview
Qualified applicants are invited for an interview in their own countries. In some cases,
applicants are interviewed online or by telephone.
Interview committees usually consist of at least a representative of Trkiye Scholarships
and an academic staff from Turkish universities.
Interviews usually last 15-30 mins. and are conducted in the following format:

Ibn Haldun Social Sciences Programme is specifically designed for
Masters and PhD applicants. Applicants interested in designated

of programmes across social sciences and humanities from history
to politics, from business administration to economics are offered at
prestigious Turkish universities.
AL KUU SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY PROGRAMME
Ali Kuu Science & Technology Programme is specifically designed
for Masters and PhD applicants. Applicants interested in designated
courses from all countries may apply for the Programme. A wide range
of programmes across natural sciences and technology from physics to
biotechnology, from mechanical engineering to urban planning are offered
at prestigious Turkish universities.

masters and PhD applicants. Applicants interested in Islamic Theology, Basic
Islamic Sciences and Religious Sciences from all countries may apply for the

YUNUS EMRE TURKISH LANGUAGE PROGRAMME
Yunus Emre Turkish Language Programme is specifically designed for
undergraduate, masters and PhD applicants. Applicants interested in Turkish
Language & Literature and related subjects from all countries may apply for the
Programme. Language of instruction in those programmes is in Turkish only.

Success Programme is specifically designed for students
who are currently studying in Turkish universities with
their own finances and who show exceptional academic
performance.

Support Programme is specifically designed for students
who are currently studying in Turkish universities with
their own expenses and who need economic support.
RESEARCH PROGRAMME
Research Programme is specifically designed for PhD
holders or PhD candidates. Applicants must have
acceptance from any university in Turkey and fulfill the
language criteria of that university.
Please Note: Success and Support Programs only covers monthly
stipend; for Undergraduate Students 400 per month, for Master's

TURKISH LANGUAGE & CULTURE PROGRAMME
Two short-term programmes are available under this category:
Turkish Summer School (2 months) and Turkish Language & Culture
Programme (8-10 months). Turkish Summer School is designed for
non-Turkish university students who have elementary level Turkish
proficiency and who wish to improve Turkish language skills. Turkish
Language & Culture Programme is designed for public servants and
academicians who are specialized in Turkey-related issues/subjects.
