Full Tutorial, should work for you.

1) Disable Internet Connection


2) Install Camtasia as Trial, do not launch it after Installation
3) Go to C:\ProgramData\TechSmith\Camtasia Studio 8
4) Open and edit the file "RegInfo.ini"

Replace everything inside the file with:

[RegistrationInfo]
RegisteredTo=Whatever name you want
RegistrationKey=KC2AC-ADZAM-CSWAW-NF6XZ-N56F8
ValidationData1=
ValidationData2=1
ValidationData3=1

5) Go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc
6) Edit your "hosts" file and add these entries:

127.0.0.1 65.52.240.48
127.0.0.1 activation.cloud.techsmith.com
127.0.0.1 69.167.144.18
127.0.0.1 oscount.techsmith.com
127.0.0.1 updater.techsmith.com
127.0.0.1 camtasiatudi.techsmith.com
127.0.0.1 tsccloud.cloudapp.net
127.0.0.1 assets.cloud.techsmith.com

7) Launch Camtasia (an error will appear, but it should only pop-up once)
8) Close Camtasia
9) Block Camtasia via Firewall
10) Launch Camtasia once again to check if it is working.
