events and identify how they may have contributed to the ideas and
characteristics of the Romantic Era.

Read works by some of these Romantic Poets: William Blake,


William Wordsworth, Samuel Taylor Coleridge, Lord Byron, Percy
Bysshe Shelley, John Keats, Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, Ralph
Waldo Emerson, Edgar Allen Poe. Create a poster size collage that
expresses some of the ideas and feeling presented in their poetry.

The Romantic Period was experienced all over the world. Do some research and
identify some Romantic Poets from countries other than the U.S. and England.
Hint: Brazil, Croatia, Italy, Spain, Ukraine, India, Polandare just a few. Create a
presentation of your findings.

Make a playlist of modern popular music that expresses the characteristics of


Romanticism.

Create a Google Slides presentation detailing works of art that express


characteristics of the Romantic Movement. Explain the symbolism and
references that make the art relevant.
