Elementary Chorus Contract 2017-2018

Dear Parent/Guardian:
It is very important that all students who wish to be involved with Elementary Chorus make a firm
commitment to the group. Chorus is a team activity where the success of the group depends on many
things. Below is a list of my expectations for all members of Elementary Chorus. Please discuss these
expectations with your child. If you both agree with them, sign and return the bottom portion of this
contract to me as soon as possible.

Expectations:
Every chorus member is expected to attend all rehearsals and concerts until after the
December concert. Students may rejoin for the second semester and will be required to attend all
rehearsals and concerts until after the May concert. Rehearsals are held on A and E days during the
noon hour period (11:50-12:23).
Students must be on their best behavior in chorus. With 30+ kids, it is very important to have full
cooperation from everyone. If behavior becomes a problem, I will take appropriate measures to
correct that behavior. If the problem persists, I may call you.
Attendance at the concerts is mandatory except for extreme circumstances. Please either call me or
send a written note for these unique situations.
Concert dress is black and white. Girls should wear a black skirt (long) or slacks and a white blouse.
Boys should wear black slacks, a white dress shirt, (ties are encouraged!) and dress shoes. (Please no
sneakers).

Wednesday, December 6th @ 12:50pm (Student Assembly)
Thursday, December 7th @ 7:00pm
Wednesday, May 9th @ 12:50pm (Student Assembly)
Thursday, May 10th @ 7pm
