the course for the academic period during 2007-2008 to 2013-2014.

Success Rate = 30 * Mean of Success Index (SI) for past 3 batches

SI = (Number of students who cleared the program in the minimum period of
course duration) DIVIDED BY (Number of students admitted in the first year
of that batch and laterally admitted in 2nd year)
The success index is calculated using the above guideline and listed in the following table:

IV-P.2 Academic Performance (20)

Academic Performance = 2*API

Where API = Academic Performance Index
= Mean of Cumulative Grade Point Average of all the Students
on a 10 point CGPA System
OR
= Mean of the percentage of marks of all students / 10

The API has been found using above guideline and listed in the following table:

IV-P.3 Placement and Higher Studies (30)

Assessment Points = 30 * (x + 1.25 * y) / N

Where x = Number of students placed,
y = Number of students admitted for higher studies with valid
qualifying scores/ranks,
N = Total number of students who were admitted in the batch
including lateral entry.
Subject to Max. Assessment Points = 20.

The assessment of placement and higher studies is made using the guideline mentioned above
and the assessment points for last three years are given below:
