Secondary school: 13yrs to 17 yrs

Outreach Services
- In schools:

1. Dental static clinic in schools


- With enrolment of 1000 students and above. Oral health division will provide dental chairs and
equipments. Dental nurses will be based there 3 times a week to provided treatment to children.
They will get around the year treatment

2. Nurses/dentists in mobile dental clinics


- A container with wheels. Each state has only one
- Only used for very isolated and far away schools
- It will be parked at those schools for a few days to provide treatment

3. Mobile dental team


- They go to schools in a normal van
- Set up portable stuff in school (usually will be given a room)
- Will be based for 2-3 months

Incremental dental care is given via the above mentioned services

Other Primary Oral Healthcare Programmes


1. Pre-school dental programme
- Done by nurses
- Toothbrushing drills
- Dental check-up

2. Antenatal programme
- For pregnant mothers
- Check-ups and talks are given on designated days or dentists will need to go to MCHC
(Maternal Child Healthcare Clinic)
