Introduction
PRELIMINARY PIPELINE SURGE ANALYSIS
1.0 Objective
The objective of this calculation is to determine the potential for surge in a pipeline, the method of calculating surge is via the
Joukowsky equation. This method is conservative hence any indication of surge given by this method should be evaluated fully.
