Child at Rest
There's a special angel in Heaven
That is a part of me. God needed an angel in Heaven
It is not where I wanted her, To stand at the Savior's feet;
But where God wanted her to be. His choice must be the rarest
She was here just a moment, A lily pure and sweet.
Like a night time shooting star. He gazed upon the mighty throng
And though she is in Heaven Then stopped and picked the best,
Our child was His chosen one For each scene, he noticed two sets of footprints in

Daddy's Love
When the last scene of his life flashed before him,
Daddy's Love he looked back at the footprints in the sand.
He noticed that many times along the path of his life
I felt his love in many ways, there was only one set of footprints.
He was there through all my days. He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest
His strong hands with a gentle touch, and saddest times in his life.
Through the years taught me so much.
