1. DOES THE POSTING AND EXTENSION OF POSTING TENURE

UNDER INDIAN NAVY, REQUIRED ANY APPROVAL FROM PMO OFFICE
OR PRINCIPLE SECRETARY OF MINISTRY OF DEFENCE.

2. REAR ADMIRAL SHRI. SANJEEV KALE, ADMIRAL SUPERINTENDENT


ND(MBI), INDIAN NAVY HAS JOINED THE CURRENT POSTING DURING
JULY 2016, FOR A YEAR TENURE AS PER EXISTING PRACTICE.
PROVIDE COPY OF HIS POSTING ORDER TO THE CURRENT POST.

2. PROVIDE GOVERNMENT GUIDELINES / RULES FOR CLASSIFICATION


OF CATEGORIES KNOWN AS NON-INDUSTRIAL EMPLOYEES
WORKING UNDER MINISTRY OF DEFENCE.

3. (A) PROVIDE THE AUTHORISED WORKING HOURS PER DAY / PER


WEEK FOR NON-INDUSTRIAL EMPLOYEES UNDER ALL
DEPARTMENTS / DIRECTORATES OF MINISTRY OF DEFENCE.

(B) PROVIDE THE COPY OF SUPPORTING GOVERNMENT ORDER /

With reference to para '2' of the GOI Ministry of Defence's directive vide
its' MoD ID No. 159/2010/D(Civ-II) dated 25.06.2014, in respect to
payment of Overtime Allowances to Supervisory Staff in Naval
Establishments.

Accordingly Headquarters Western Naval Command has submitted a


request for "Identification of categories of employees deemed to be
holding positions of supervision or management or employed in a
confidential position in the units under HQWNC in terms of section 64,
sub section 1 of factories act 1948, and as per the operational
requirement of Indian Navy. The said letter dated 06 Oct 2015 submitted
to DISH (Mumbai) during Oct 2015.

Till today DISH have not issued the certificate as per requirement of
HQWNC submitted through its above letter which severely affect the
overtime rates of the operational staff except the list submitted vide the
above letter.

Already more than 02 years lapsed and many reminders submitted to


the DISH by the HQWNC for issuance of the said certificate which was
already issued to Ordnance Factory Ambarnath, but nothing tangible
action taken by the DISH.

It is requested to direct the concerned authorities to take necessary


action and issue the requisite certificate.
