Surface Development
Surface development is one of the majour initiation towards de-
signing . This medium acts as a bridge joining the creativity of an
individual towards their aspiring dreams .Surface Development
helps to give birth to new variations of visual medium & textures.
Through developing various surface i as an designer feel very in-
clined and intrested in creating concepts which are part of my vi-
sion and realisation.
Design Brief: Develope a range of Theme based15 swatches and
provide the applications of the surface developed. Realise swatches
into ensembles . The collection should belong to womenswear cat-

egorie for British clientele for a young age group urban women.
Concept Note
The concept attributes to art & craft ,its naive nature. The col-
lection emerges from tones of beige which resembles the morning
glory which later on merges in black showing the breaking dawn
. The mood of the whole range is blooming nostalgia which is very
seductive,charming and Beautiful.
There is an allover -twenties floral,often accented with delicate
pastel lace which was cleverly camouflaged against the skin .This
outing is full of vintage inspired looks,linen drawn thread embroi-
dery and bead work create a beautiful aura, while a beautiful rose
and marigold embroidery pieces came towards vintage appeal.
For spring the look is little more polished .My envision is about a

city girl who fled for greener pastures , literally , and had to adjust
her urban wardrobe accordingly with beautiful dresses to breath-
taking separates having detailed embroidery and bead work.

Shillouette is flowy and layered look. Tone
on tone fabric are in the forecast thus
creating a more elegant and subtle feel-
ings. Lace are predominant.
Sleeveless blouses or full sleeves are among
the various variations.
