This document provides steps to collect event logs and IML logs from HP ProLiant servers with iLO2 or iLO3 management processors. For iLO2, users select the relevant log from the system status tab and copy it to a file. For iLO3, users select the log from the information tab, click view CSV, and copy the output to a file. Steps to collect iLO Event logs and IML logs (from iLO) for iLO2

To collect ILo Event logs:

1. Select iLo2 Log from System Status tab. Copy the logs and paste it in an excel file or text file.

To collect IML log:

1. Select IML from System Status tab. Copy the logs and paste it in an excel file or text file.

To collect ILo Event logs:

1. Select iLo3 Event Log from Information tab.
2. Click on View CSV, later copy and paste the logs in an excel file or text file.

To collect IML log:

1. Select Integrated Management Log from Information tab.


2. Click on View CSV, later copy and paste the logs in an excel file or text file.
