OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER NOTES ....
On the Road Again: The Thunder looks to get its fifth win in seven games and second straight road win as the team travels to Indiana to take on the Pacers
tonight. Each of Oklahoma Citys last five games against Indiana have been decided by four points or less with the exception of OKCs 114-96 victory on
Oct. 25, 2017. Tonights game marks the start of a three-game road trip as the Thunder will follow this game with a back-to-back, playing at Philadelphia
on Friday, Dec. 15 and at New York on Saturday, Dec. 16.

Turnover a New Leaf: Oklahoma City leads the league in both steals per game (10.00) and opponent turnovers per game (18.0). The Thunder has yet to
finish within the Top 5 in the NBA in these categories since they moved to Oklahoma City as their previous season bests were 8.28 steals per game in
2012-13 and 15.2 opponent turnovers per game in 2013-14. Additionally, the Thunder tops the NBA leaderboard for deflections per game (17.4), forced
turnovers on 18.8% of opponent possessions, which tops the league, and recovers the most loose balls each game (8.5). The Thunder is also ranked
second in the league with a defensive rating of 100.9. Paul George ranks first in the league in deflections per game (4.6), in steals per game (2.42) and
recovered the most loose balls each game (1.9). Russell Westbrook is second in loose balls recovered per game (1.7), third in steals per game (2.00) and
tied for sixth in deflections per game (3.2).

Elite Company: Since the start of the 2009-10 season, the Thunder has won five Northwest Division titles, reached the Conference Finals on four occasions,
the NBA Finals once and amassed a record of 430-236 (.646). Based on winning percentage, the Oklahoma City Thunder ranks as the fourth most winning
team among the four major professional sports (NBA, NFL, MLB & NHL).
BEST RECORDS SINCE 2009-10 SEASON
(includes NBA, NFL, MLB & NHL teams)
New England Patriots .773 (109-32)
San Antonio Spurs .726 (484-183)
Green Bay Packers .671 (94-46-1)
Oklahoma City Thunder .646 (430-236)
Leaders of the Pack: The Thunder has three players in the Top 5 league leaders as Paul George has the most steals per game (2.42), Russell Westbrook
is first in the NBA in assists per game (9.8) and Steven Adams has the third-best field goal percentage (.646, 133-206 FG). Additionally, Westbrook is third
in terms of steals per game (2.00), 15th in rebounds per game (9.1) and 17th in scoring (23.0) while Steven Adams is 20th in rebounds per game (8.5).

League of Legends: Oklahoma City sprinkles the NBA career leaderboards as Carmelo Anthony and Russell Westbrook hold the third and sixth best scoring
averages among active players with 24.6 and 22.7, respectively. Additionally, Westbrook has the second-best career usage rating in NBA history (32.60)
behind Michael Jordan and the fourth-best career assist percentage (41.7). Among active players, Westbrook has the fourth-highest career average for
steals per game (1.74) while Paul George ranks sixth (1.69). George also holds the fourth-best career defensive rating among active players (100.71).

Wild, Wild Westbrook, the Lone Ranger: In the Thunders 100-94 victory over the Jazz on Dec. 3, Russell Westbrook blocked his 200th shot, setting himself
apart as the only player in the history of the NBA with at least 200 blocks, 5,000 rebounds and 15,000 points within his first 700 games.

Adam(s)ant About Scoring: Steven Adams ranks third in the league in field goal percentage (.646, 133-206 FG) and in three games from Dec. 1-5, totaled
66 points off 28-for-34 shooting. On Dec. 1 vs. Minnesota, Adams went 11-for-11 from the field and 5-for-5 from the charity stripe, matching the second-
best shooting performance from the field in Thunder history after Serge Ibakas 12-for-12 on Jan. 31, 2014, and setting a new career-high with 27 points.
He is also the only player in NBA history besides Chris Mullin on Dec. 1, 1990 to be perfect from both the field and free throw line with at least 11 and five
attempts, respectively. On Nov. 20 at New Orleans, Adams scored his 2,500th-career point, making him one of just two players since he was drafted in
2013 with as many points and at least 300 blocks and 200 steals in less than 8,000 minutes (Mason Plumlee). He scored in double figures in 17 games
and led the team in rebounding 10 times while posting eight double-doubles.

Triple-Double Down: In the Dec. 9 victory over Memphis, Russell Westbrook produced his eighth triple-double of the season with 20 points, 14 assists and
11 rebounds. He now holds at least five more than any other player this season. On Dec. 5 vs. Utah, Westbrook logged his seventh and led the game in
each category with 34 points, 14 assists and 13 rebounds. On Nov. 24 vs. Detroit, Westbrook recorded his sixth with a game-best 27 points, game-high 11
assists and 11 rebounds along with three steals. On Nov. 20 at New Orleans, he notched his fifth as he logged 22 points, a game-best 16 rebounds and
game-high 12 assists along with three steals. In the Thunders 110-91 win over the Bucks on Oct. 31, Westbrook produced his fourth with 12 points, 10
rebounds and 10 assists, making him the only player in NBA history besides Oscar Robertson to record at least four triple-doubles in the first seven games
of the season. Westbrook notched his third triple-double of the season and first against Chicago on Oct. 28 at Chicago with 12 points, 13 rebounds and
13 assists, making him the only player in NBA history to log a triple-double against all 29 other teams in the league. On Oct. 19 vs. New York, Westbrook
logged his 80th career and first opening night triple-double with 21 points, 16 assists and 10 rebounds, joining Oscar Robertson as the only other player in
NBA history with at least 20 points, 15 assists and 10 rebounds in a home opener. This makes him one of ten players in league history to record a triple-
double on opening night (LeBron James, Jason Kidd, Chris Duhon, Gary Payton, Clyde Drexler, Scottie Pippen, Fat Lever, Larry Bird and Lewis Lloyd). His
16 assists are the most in an opening night triple-double in league history. Of the 30 NBA franchises, 19 have fewer triple-doubles in their entire team
history than the 87 that Westbrook has logged in his career and Oklahoma City is now 6-2 when Westbrook registers a triple-double.
ALL-TIME NBA TRIPLE-DOUBLE LEADERS
Oscar Robertson: 181
Magic Johnson: 138

NBA in assists (9.8 assists per game). No player in NBA history has ever led the league in scoring and assists in consecutive seasons.

Abrinesolutely Amazing: On Dec. 9 at Memphis, Alex Abrines set a new career-high with 20 points (7-10 FG, 6-8 3FG) en route to scoring his 500th-career
point. This makes him just the fifth player in Thunder history with at least 500 points, 37% shooting on 100 threes and 50 steals within his first 100 games
(Kevin Durant, James Harden, Kevin Martin and Anthony Morrow).

Analytics Corner: Throughout the Thunder era, Oklahoma City has always been on the cutting edge of analytics and advanced statistics. Throughout the
2017-18 season, Thunder Basketball Communications will provide the media with various data points and advanced basketball metrics.

OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER NOTES ....
Comeback Kids: Oklahoma City came back from 20 points down in the second quarter to earn a 102-101 overtime victory over the Grizzlies on Dec. 9.
This ties the second-largest comeback victory in Thunder history from March 29, 2015 at Phoenix, just after the 21-point comeback on March 29, 2017 at
Orlando.

Blue Review: The Thunders G League affiliate, the Oklahoma City Blue is off to an 8-7 start this season after downing the Memphis Hustle (affiliate of the
Memphis Grizzlies) 127-123 on Sunday, Dec. 10. Just like their NBA counterpart, Oklahoma City has defense that tops the G League in both steals per
game (11.47) and opponent turnovers per game (20.3). Two-way player Daniel Hamilton has led the team in assists in 13 of 15 games and ranks second
in the league in assists per game (8.5). Hamilton has also notched a league-leading five triple-doubles this season, including three straight from Nov. 18-
24. Additionally, guard Markel Brown was selected to Team USA for the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 Americas Qualifier.

ThundeRuss Birthday: On Nov. 12, Russell Westbrook celebrated his 29th birthday with a 112-99 victory over the Dallas Mavericks. He stands as just one
of three players in NBA history with at least 15,000 points, 5,000 assists and 4,000 rebounds before age 29 along with Oscar Robertson and LeBron James.

Not Taken for Grant(ed): On Dec. 3 vs. San Antonio, Jerami Grant played his 100th game in an OKC uniform, making him the only player in Thunder history
besides Serge Ibaka to log at least 600 points, 250 rebounds and 90 blocks in his first 100 games.

Youve Been Hit by a Smooth Carmelo: On Nov. 25 at Dallas, Carmelo Anthony scored 16 points on 4-of-7 shooting from distance to pass Ray Allen on the
NBAs all-time scoring list. Anthony now ranks 22nd (24,605 points) and third among active players behind Dirk Nowitzki and LeBron James. Anthony is
also one of six players in league history alongside Kobe Bryant, Vince Carter, LeBron James, Dirk Nowitzki and Paul Pierce to record 24,000 points, 6,000
rebounds, 2,500 assists, 1,000 steals and 1,000 three-point field goals and the only one besides Patrick Ewing to start in each of his first 1,000 games.

NBA ALL-TIME SCORING LIST

21. Patrick Ewing 48,815
22. Carmelo Anthony 24,605
23. Vince Carter 24,603
24. Ray Allen 24,505
25. Allen Iverson 24,368

Blue October: The Thunder wrapped October play with a three-game road trip that ended with a 110-91 win over the Bucks on Halloween night. This win
was their second straight 19-point or better win, marking just the third time in Thunder history that the team has won consecutive road games by 19 points
or more. In the three games from Oct. 28 - Nov. 3, the Thunder allowed an average of 36.7 points in the first half and held opponents to 42 or fewer points
in the first half of those games, which is the first time since Nov. 14-18, 2014 that they have done so.

Opening Night: Oklahoma City tipped off its 10th NBA season by taking on the New York Knicks on Oct. 19 at Chesapeake Energy Arena, which marked
the clubs 300th consecutive sellout. In this game, Oklahoma City held New York to the lowest opponent opening night score in Thunder history (previous
low was 86 points against the Spurs on Nov. 1, 2012). The Thunder now holds a 9-1 record in home openers, which is tied for second-best in the league
since the 2008-09 season (Miami, San Antonio) behind Portlands 10-0 record. They also now hold a 7-3 opening night record while going 3-0 under Head
Coach Billy Donovan.

Preseason Basketball: The Thunder wrapped up preseason play with a Tuesday night contest against the Nuggets at the Pepsi Center in Denver, where
they won 96-86. This matchup was the fourth and final game of Oklahoma Citys 10th preseason, following games against Houston, New Orleans and
Melbourne United of Australias National Basketball League. The Thunder now holds a preseason record of .500 or better in seven of the eight last seasons.

100 for Billy: Last season, Billy Donovan notched his 100th career victory to become the first head coach in NBA history to win 100 games in the first two
seasons after coming immediately from the college ranks. Moreover, Donovan is one of three current NBA head coaches to win 100 wins in two seasons
with their current respective franchise (Carlisle and Kerr). In all of NBA history, only 18 coaches have won 100 games in their first two NBA seasons as
head coach. Additionally, Donovan became just the third first-year head coach in the last 15 years to win 55+ games during his first season.

Triple-Double Dip: To cap off his MVP season, Russell Westbrook registered his NBA-record-setting 42nd triple-double of the season on April 9, 2017 in
Denver (Oscar Roberson tallied 41 triple-doubles during the 1961-62 season). Trailing 103-105 with 2.9 seconds left, Westbrook connected on a game-
winning 36-foot 3-point field goal to also become the only player in NBA history to post three 50-point triple-doubles in a single season. Furthermore, he is
the only player in NBA history to register seven consecutive triple doubles on two separate occasions during a single season. Westbrook also posted five
straight 30-point triple-doubles last season to become the only player in NBA history to ever accomplish the feat. To put further perspective on Westbrooks
triple-doubles, there are 11 NBA teams that have amassed fewer triple-doubles in their entire team history as compared to the 42 logged by Westbrook
last season.

OK3: The trio of Russell Westbrook, Paul George and Carmelo Anthony combined for 5,992 total points last season, which is the most by any other set of
three teammates in the league this year. They are followed by Minnesotas Karl-Anthony Towns, Andrew Wiggins and Jimmy Butler (5,810 combined
points) and Clevelands Isaiah Thomas, LeBron James and Derrick Rose (5,307 combined points).

MOST COMBINED POINTS LAST SEASON BY CURRENT TRIO

Russell Westbrook 2,558 Paul George 1,775 Carmelo Anthony 1,659 5,992 total points
Karl-Anthony Towns 2,061 Andrew Wiggins 1,933 Jimmy Butler 1,816 5,810 total points
Isaiah Thomas 2,199 LeBron James 1,954 Derrick Rose 1,154 5,307 total points

Summer Lovin: Over the summer, the Thunder acquired two perennial All-Stars in Carmelo Anthony and Paul George. Anthony is a 10-time All-Star who
started in eight of those ten games and George started in two of his four All-Star appearances. Anthony also earned the honor of NBA scoring champion
for the 2012-13 season along with his six All-NBA selections. George was named the 2012-13 most improved player in the NBA while earning three All-
NBA and three All-Defensive selections himself.

Fun and Olympic Games: This years Thunder squad contains three Olympic gold medalists for Team USA including Carmelo Anthony (2008, 2012, 2016),
Russell Westbrook (2012) and Paul George (2016). Additionally, Carmelo Anthony holds the title of all-time leading scorer for the United States Olympic
Mens National Team. Oklahoma City also has two Olympic bronze medalists in Carmelo Anthony (2004) and Alex Abrines (2016) who played for Spain.
OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER NOTES ....
20/20 Vision: On Oct. 28 at Chicago, Carmelo Anthony recorded a game-leading 21 points, making him the first player in Thunder history to score at least
20 points in his first six games with Oklahoma City. He has also led the team in scoring six times and logged four double-doubles.

Paul in a Days Work: Paul George is the only player since he was drafted in 2010 with at least 2,800 rebounds, 700 steals and a three-point percentage of
.370 or better. In that same timeframe, he is one of just five players with at least 8,000 points in 400 starts or less alongside Damian Lillard, Isaiah Thomas,
Kyrie Irving and Kemba Walker.

Around the World: Oklahoma City is undefeated when hosting international teams at Chesapeake Energy Arena following their 86-85 win over Melbourne
United on Oct. 8. This marked the third time the Thunder has played host to an international squad in Oklahoma City. Previously, the team welcomed
Fenerbahce Ulker in 2015 (W, 111-81) and CSKA Moscow in 2010 (W, 97-89). Oklahoma City now holds a 5-1 preseason record against international teams
as they have also played at Fenerbahce Ulker in 2013 (W, 95-82) and made a trip to Spain last year where they faced Real Madrid (L, 142-137) and FC
Barcelona (W, 92-89).

OKC is Fan Friendly: The Thunder once again played in front of a packed house at Chesapeake Energy Arena on opening night vs. New York on Oct. 19,
recording its 300th consecutive sellout (including both regular season and playoffs). Oklahoma City was also named first in the league in fan experience
following a league-wide audit last season and ranks third in the NBA in local TV ratings, fifth in season ticket subscriptions and renewals, and seventh in
social media audience and merchandise sales. Fans in attendance this season will enjoy the improvements made to Chesapeake Energy Arena for the
Thunders 10th anniversary including a Thunder Cares community outreach display, Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame viewing area, season ticket member
recognition wall, interactive digital display where fans can share their stories, KultureCity sensory-inclusion area for fans that needs a calm, quiet
atmosphere, digital Fan Assist to provide fans with real-time support, and much more.

Boards are the Barometer: The Thunder closed out the 2016-17 season as the leading rebounding team in the NBA (46.6 rpg). OKC went 20-3 last season
when outrebounding the opposition by 10 or more. Additionally, the Thunder led the NBA with respect to points in the paint (49.9 per game). OKC went 12-
2 when scoring 60+ points in the paint.

40-Point Games: Including his franchise-best 58-point outing on March 7 versus Portland, Russell Westbrook became the first player since Kobe Bryant
(during the 2011-12 season) to score 40 or more in four straight games. Westbrook scored 40 or more points in three straight games twice last season,
thereby becoming one of just four players to accomplish the feat since the merger (Moses Malone, Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant).

In the clutch: Throughout the 2016-17 season, Russell Westbrook continued to be very effective in clutch late game situation as he connected on four
go-ahead field goals in the final 10 seconds, which was the most in the NBA. (Clutch is defined as the final 5 minutes of regulation and overtime when
the score is within a five-point differential). Below are several of Westbrooks ranks in those late-game situations last season. During the Thunders win
versus the Grizzlies on Feb. 3, 2017, Westbrook scored the last 15 points of the game to become the first player since Michael Jordan (11/21/97) to record
the final 13+ points of a game. Additionally, Westbrook set a career high by scoring 21 fourth quarter points during the Thunders win versus New Orleans
on Feb. 26. More recently, after trailing by 13 with 3:31 in regulation, the Thunder scored 14 unanswered points to defeat Dallas on Mar. 27 (Westbrook
scored 12 of the Thunders final 14 points). Two nights later, Westbrook scored 26 points during the fourth quarter and overtime as OKC rallied from a 21-
point deficit to defeat the Magic on Mar. 29. Westbrook capped-off his clutch play this season, by connecting on the game-winning 3-point field goal as
time expired on April 9 in Denver (Westbrook outscored the Nuggets himself 13-2 in the final 2:30).

Home Cooking: Since arriving in Oklahoma City in 2008, the Thunder has always taken pride in defending its home court. Oklahoma City finished the 2015-
16 season with a home record of 32-9 (tied for 4th best home record in the NBA). Included in that, OKC went an impressive 23-3 at Chesapeake Energy
Arena that year when facing Western Conference opponents. Dating back to the start of the 2009-10 season, OKC has gone 249-83 (.750) at home, which
stands as the second-best home record in the NBA during this span.

Sustaining Success: In the past eight seasons, OKC has compiled the second-best record in the NBA (behind San Antonio). After the 2008-09 season in
which Oklahoma City won 20 games after a 3-29 start, the Thunder found ways to improve the club in each of the four subsequent seasons. With a 60-22
record during the 2012-13 season, Oklahoma City became just the second team in NBA history (Boston, 1955-1960) to increase its winning percentage
for five consecutive seasons (while maintaining a winning percentage of .700 or better in two of those seasons). On March 24, 2016, the Thunder claimed
a 22-point home victory over the Jazz and in the process, OKC recorded the teams 50th win of the season. Oklahoma City has now finished with a winning
percentage of .610 (equivalent to 50 wins) six times dating back to the 2009-10 season. Only the San Antonio Spurs (eight seasons with .610 or better
winning percentage), have reached that benchmark more during this period. After finishing the 2016-17 season with a record of 47-35, OKC is now one of
three teams (Houston and San Antonio) to maintain a .500 or better record in each of the last eight seasons. The chart to the below illustrates the
development of the Thunder program through the years.
Season Winning % Playoff Finish
2016-17 .563 (47-35) Lost in first round
2015-16 .671 (55-27) Advanced to Conference Finals
2013-14 .548 (45-37) Did not qualify
2013-14 .720 (59-23) Advanced to Conference Finals
2012-13 .732 (60-22) Advanced to Conference Semifinals
2011-12 .712 (47-19) Advanced to NBA Finals
2010-11 .671 (55-27) Advanced to Conference Finals
2009-10 .610 (50-32) Lost in first round
2008-09 .280 (23-59) Did not qualify
Back-to-Back is Back: Entering the 2017-18 season, the Thunder is set to compete in 14 back-to-back sets. Last season, Oklahoma City played in 15 back-
to-backs. OKC finished the year going 8-7 in the first game of a back-to-back and 5-10 on the second night.

quarter to eventually send the game into overtime where free throws by Russell Westbrook would give the Thunder the win.
OKC was down by as many as 20 points in the first half, tying the second-largest comeback victory in Thunder history.
Alex Abrines set a new career-high with 20 points (7-10 FG, 6-8 3FG) en route to scoring his 500th career point. This makes
him just the fifth player in Thunder history with at least 500 points, 37% shooting on 100 threes and 50 steals within his first
100 games (Kevin Durant, James Harden, Kevin Martin and Anthony Morrow).
Westbrook produced his eighth triple-double of the season, giving him at least five more than any other NBA player with 20
points, 14 assists and 11 rebounds.
Carmelo Anthony recorded 21 points, nine rebounds and two steals in his 1,000th career game, making him the only player in
NBA history besides Patrick Ewing to start in every one of his first 1,000 games.

third. The Thunder responded with an 8-0 run of their own to end the third quarter up 79-74, but the Nets battled back again as
an Allen Crabbe three-point jumper midway through the fourth sparked a 9-0 run that gave Brooklyn the advantage they needed
to win the game.
A 17-7 offensive rebounding advantage helped Oklahoma City outscore the Nets 16-5 in second chance points.
Steven Adams and Carmelo Anthony each produced double-doubles of 12 points and 14 rebounds, and 11 points and 11
