ABSTRACT
This document summarizes the results of the NDT program of the first piece, which will be
carried out in the Panel-FWD RH for A400M (Family: common bells (P / N:
M541A2016206) associated with the following P / N: M541A2050010 ( d 'FWD HR
mounting panel) and M541A208006 (Core d'Assy RH FWD) manufactured by Caetano
Aeronautic (Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal) FPQ the test program will be carried out as
requested by the Issue decision sheet D16007928 reference 1. This FPQ test program defines
the methods and details necessary for the FPQ test according to the procedures of Caetano
Aeronautic.
INTRODUCTION
The design of the aeronautical components must be certified with the qualification of tests
that demonstrate the effectiveness of the design in relation to a correct manufacturing process.
The purpose of the qualification of the NDT processes of the first piece is to demonstrate
together with the functional and destructive tests that the aeronautical component will work
and work in service according to the loads and efforts defined by the calculation department
and design.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSIONS
The NDT inspection was carried out with the identified equipment and was developed on the
areas indicated in the component with the techniques defined in the report. The result of the
tests was that in their development no relevant reportable indications were found.
