Teacher asks pupils to read the sentence in the textbook (pg 3).
Pre-reading
1. Teacher introduces the phoneme /eI/ with an action.

1. Pupils articulate the sound and imitate the action
2. Teacher says the words with the /eI/ sound and pupils repeat after teacher.
Post-reading
1. Teacher asks pupils to find other words with the phoneme /eI/.
Closure:
Pupils read aloud all the words with the phoneme /eI/ with the action.
