Date: Subject and Grade: Grade 10 Science: 4. Students Will Be Grouped

This document provides details for a 10th grade science lesson plan on the kinetic molecular model of matter and intermolecular forces. The lesson objectives are for students to understand the properties of liquids and solids in relation to particle forces and phase changes in terms of energy and particle forces. Students will learn about intermolecular forces including dipole-dipole forces, ion-dipole forces, and dispersion forces. The lesson will involve reviewing states of matter, showing animations of the kinetic molecular model, and discussions on intermolecular forces and different types of forces. Students will complete an activity matching molecular structures to their intermolecular forces.
