Scope and Limitations

This study surveyed 50 youths in Alapan, Imus City, Cavite about the influence of youth organizations. It was limited to the opinions of respondents to the questionnaire and only included youths who were members or not members of youth organizations. The significance of the study is that it could help youths in organizations gain skills and encourage uninvolved youths to join, and could benefit the community through projects conducted by youth organizations.

Scope and Limitations

Scope
This study is based only on individual’s opinion that is chosen to answer the
survey questionnaire that is prepared by the researchers about the influences of youth
organization in Alapan, Imus City, Cavite.

Limitation
The researchers chose fifty (50) respondents who are able to answer the survey
questionnaire and these respondents came from Alapan, Imus City, Cavite. This study
limits the selection of respondents from the selected youths who are members of youth
organization and other youths who are not.

Significance of the Study


The significance of this study will help the following:

a. Youths – members of the youth organization will acquire communication skills,


self-confidence, planning and implementation skills, ability to assess the
efficiency and quality, and cooperate with other people and organizations. While
the other youths who are not part of the youth organization will encourage to be
involved in the organization to develop as individuals and enjoy new challenges
through volunteering and social action whilst making a positive contribution to the
community.
b. Community – projects and programs conducted by the youth organization such
as community service, feeding program, school supplies, and gift giving will
benefit those people who are less fortunate and the development of the
community.
Background of the Study

Specific Problem
 Out of school youth and unemployed youth (istambay) are scattered in the
community.
 The youth’s responsibility and obligation in the community are being denied.
 Youth Organizations are ignored because of the bad habits of the youths such as
addictions in online games, cigarettes and alcoholic beverages.
