Responsibilities of District Education Group:

1. Reading the Sindh Education Sector Plan (SESP) and fathom out the underlying areas to be
worked on.
2. Micro planning of District Education with the support of all stakeholders of District.
3. Participating in all educational activities in District.
4. Implementation of District Education Plan, and sharing the issues facing in implementation of
District Education Plan.
5. Monthly conducting the meeting of District Education Group, and documenting the minutes of
meeting.
6. Regular monitoring the activities of District Education Plan.
7. Ensure the IM DEP activities & its proper progress of IM DEP.
8. Monthly progress report of District Education Plan.
9. Coordination with District Reform Oversight Committee.
10. Coordination with Local Education Group and review its progress.
11. Contributing in developing the situation analysis report on District Education.
12. Identification of gaps & need-reading the teachers’ training & development needs.
13. Advocacy & awareness campaign at gross root level.
14. Ensuring continuous coordination among the other District Education Group.
15. Coordinate & communicate with key stakeholders at district level.
