Fuse and Relay Locations
The vehicle's instrumentation, gauges and other electri-
cally controlled parts are wired through the Bussed Electri-
cal Center (BEC), the Engine Power Distribution Module
(EPDM), the Power Module (PM) Block and Relay Centers
(RC1/RC2).

1 Engine Power Distribution Module (EPDM)
The EPDM is located under the passenger side of the
dash, near the left kick panel.

2 PM Block
The BEC and PM Block are located under the top center
of the dash.

Mini-fuse, Replacement
You must read and understand the precautions and
guidelines in Service Information, group 30, “General
Safety Practices”, before performing this procedure. If
you are not properly trained and certified in this proce-
dure, ask your supervisor for training before you perform
it.
To replace mini-fuses in the truck electrical center, use on-
ly the fuse puller tool provided with the vehicle, 20378326.
Removing the mini-fuses with another device can possibly
damage the connections.

Relay, Replacement
You must read and understand the precautions and
guidelines in Service Information, Function Group 30,
“General Safety Practices”, before performing this pro-
cedure. If you are not properly trained and certified in
this procedure, ask your supervisor for training before
you perform it.
To replace relays, use relay puller tool J-43244. This tool
can be used on standard size or micro-relays, power re-
lays, mini-circuit breakers, maxi-fuses, etc.
