URGENT NOTICE FOR APPEARING


IN DM/M.Ch COUNSELING

Successful candidates who have been placed in the provisional Merit List after interview on
13.06.2010, 14.06.2010 and 15.06.2010 are requested to attend at the office of the University at DD-
36, Sector-I, Salt Lake, Kolkata – 700 064 on 09th July, 2010 (Seat Matrix and Time Schedule for
counseling are placed below. ) for provisional selection of College.

This Admission in the DM and M.Ch course under the West Bengal University of Health
Sciences will be subject to the decision of Writ Petition (Civil No. 188 of 2010) pending at the
Supreme Court. This Provisional Admission shall not create or accrue any right or equity in favour of
the candidate, if the verdict of the Hon’ble Apex Court goes against such admission. Candidates shall
furnish an unconditional undertaking before appearing at the counseling that he/she understands the
above condition.

Testimonials in respect of his/her claim of acquiring degrees during submission of the on- line
application forms are to be produced at the time of counseling. Any aberration other than the specified
degree of MD and MS as per MCI guideline will disqualify the candidature.

Candidates are required to bring all the documents in original together with an attested
copy (from sl. i to vii) of each of the following documents :-

i. WBPDMAT Admit Card.


ii. MD/ MS Degree/ Provisional passing certificate.
iii. Permanent/ Provisional Registration Certificate issued by MCI/ State Medical Council.
iv. School leaving certificate as proof of age.
v. MBBS Degree certificate.
vi. Sponsorship certificate issued by the Government.
vii. Course completion certificate from appropriate authority as relevant.

• Selected candidates will also have to deposit Rs.2000 (Rupees two thousand) only as ‘
Counseling Fee’ by means of ‘Crossed Demand Draft’ in favour of “The West Bengal University
of Health Sciences”, payable at Kolkata on the day of the Counseling.
