Creation
At the beginning of time the universe was shaped like an
egg. When it broke a giant named Panku came out of it
with two elements, Yin and Yang. Yin became the Earth
and Yang became the sky. After 18,000 years Panku died
and his head became the sun and moon, his blood
became the water, his breath became the wind, his voice
became thunder, and the fleas on him turned into humans.
Gods/Goddesses
There were over 1000 deities or spirits in Ancient
China. Every town, city, village, farm, and
sometimes even graveyard plots had its own earth
spirit who was honored. There were also nature
sports who inhabited trees or lived over a garden.
